According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, China's plush toy exports exceeded 1.2 billion US dollars in the first half of 2024, increasing by 15% year-on-year. Among them, orders from the European and American markets grew significantly. As the largest plush toy industrial cluster in the north, Baigou New Town in Baoding has attracted a large number of international brands to place orders with its advantages of large-scale production and mature foreign trade service chains. Longfa Toy Factory, a leading local enterprise, disclosed that it has added three automated production lines this year and expects its annual export volume to increase by 30%, further consolidating its industry position as the "Capital of China's Plush Toys".
Industry experts analyze that the rise of the Baigou industrial Belt is attributed to its complete supply chain system and rapid response capability. Enterprises such as Longfa Toy Factory have achieved intelligent management throughout the entire process from design to production through digital upgrades, significantly shortening the delivery cycle. In addition, the foreign trade support policies introduced by the local government, such as export rebates and logistics subsidies, have also provided strong support for enterprises to expand their international markets. It is expected that the annual output value of the plush toy industry in Baigou will exceed 10 billion yuan in the next three years.
